We used to live 3 blocks from our favorite taco place...Velvet Taco and since we moved, we had to find a new place and well...we found it and it’s authentic and delicious. Taco Feliz is now our new local taco place! Delicious, great service, small seating, but we had places to be.
These are the best tacos I’ve had in Chicago, the portions are generous, the meat is tender and seasoned perfectly and both the red and green salsas are equally delicious. Not to mention their perfectly balanced Agua Frescas ! This place is massively slept on and won’t disappoint
This place has my heart for some of my favorite tacos in the city. I love the al pastor as well as the chorizo. Their sauces definitely have a kick and some really great flavor. Highly recommend this place. I love the sauces so much I always ask for extra to go.
Fantastic restaurant with a fun outdoor eating space with lots of flowers. Tried all of their specialty tacos and they were excellent but the pork and zucchini taco was my personal favorite. Definitely recommend!
This hidden gem is my new favorite taco place. Quality fresh ingredients. All kinds of meat and veg choices, shrimp, fish, with nice smoky flavors from the grill. Delicious soft tortillas. The best fresh guacamole. Very friendly service and reasonable prices. They have this beautiful small side patio. Otherwise, Only a few counter spots for dine in. Cash only. Come get tacos here.
Finally! I found a new neighborhood spot for quality tacos and burritos. Really cute outdoor side patio with flowers, music playing, and the service was very friendly. We ordered for there and enjoyed the outside tables- they brought everything out to us including some tasty salsa and chips while we waited for the main entrees. It’s cash only FYI. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I loved my chicken taco; the steak burrito was fantastic- the tortilla shell is warmed to crispy, flaky perfection - I never had that before in a burrito. It made for excellent bite after bite. Don’t skip the coconut water!! It’s homemade, sweet but not overly sweet and pairs perfectly with the food. Definitely going back to try some other things and grab another burrito
I decided to try tacos for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. The burrito bowl I ordered was loaded with well-seasoned meat and had all the amazing flavors I expected from a Mexican restaurant. My wife tried a couple of tacos, one with Asada and the other was Al Pastor, which were both incredibly fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning.
